Gaggia Magenta Installation
1. Free your divider from its packaging and treat it to a sudsy spa day with dish soap and water. Pro tip: the red center piece likes to come apart from the dividing wall for easier cleaning! Just remember—keep all these components far, far away from the dishwasher.
2. Give everything a thorough towel-down until bone dry, then reunite the center with the dividing wall. When sliding the center back in, play matchmaker by lining up the arrow on top of the center piece with the half circle. It should slide in smooth as butter—if you feel it fighting back, pull it apart and make sure both pieces are squeaky clean and debris-free!
3. Pop open the coffee bean lid on the right side and relocate those beans to a bowl for safekeeping. Don't stress about any beans hanging out down in the grinding unit—they won't crash your divider installation party.
4. Slide your dividing unit into place following the picture's guidance. You've got this!
5. Give it the flush test: make sure the right-hand side of the dividing wall sits perfectly flush with the top of the coffee bean bin. Not quite right? No worries—just pull out the divider and hunt down any rogue coffee beans that might be throwing off the seating. Clear the way and try again!
6. Once your divider is happily settled in, the center becomes your coffee compass! It'll rotate 90 degrees both clockwise and counter-clockwise. The arrow on top is your guide—it points to whichever side of the bin will feed beans to your grinder.
7. Time for the reunion tour! Pour those beans from Step 3 back into either side A or side B—your choice!
8. The other side is now your blank canvas, ready and waiting for whatever coffee beans spark joy in your caffeinated heart!
9. With both sides locked and loaded with delicious beans, point that arrow to your bean of choice and get ready to brew some magic. Here's to your fancy new dual-bean setup—enjoy! ☕
