Philips 1200, 2200 & 3200 Installation
1. Liberate your divider from its packaging and give it a nice bubble bath with dish soap and water. Whatever you do, keep it away from the dishwasher—these components prefer the personal touch! Once squeaky clean, make sure everything is completely dry before moving forward.
2. Unplug your Philips espresso machine. Trust us, you don't want your grinder throwing a surprise party while you're finger-deep in coffee beans!
3. Pop off the coffee bean lid and rescue those beans by transferring them into a bowl. They'll be back soon, we promise!
4. Time to play mechanic! Grab the included L-shaped tool and remove the 2 screws shown in the picture. Heads up: some sneaky coffee beans might be hiding in the hole covering that bottom left screw. Fish them out with your L-shaped tool or a trusty toothpick.
8. Slide the red cylinder piece into the bottom of the dividing wall, following the picture's lead when orienting the half circle portion of the bottom. This helps everything play nice together. Push it all the way up until it gives the top dial a friendly bump.
9. Now for the magic trick! Keep that top dial from escaping upward with one hand, then wiggle and push the bottom piece with the other. Back and forth, push together, and—snap—they're best friends forever!
10. Your pieces are officially BFFs when there are zero gaps between them, just like the picture shows.
11. From your 2 liberated screws from Step 5, pick the shorter sidekick—this little guy will help you assemble the red center pieces of your divider. Pop it into the top dial and use your trusty L-shaped tool to give it a good twist and screw it down.
12. Pause for a quality check! Zoom back to Step 10 and double-check that there are still no gaps lurking around. Also make sure the dial spins freely clockwise and counter-clockwise.
13. Time for the grand installation! Position your coffee divider as shown in the picture and secure it with the long screw from Step 5. Use your L-shaped tool to tighten—but easy does it, no Hulk moves here! Here's the test once the screw has been installed: gently grab the divider next to the screw and give it a little upward tug. No wiggle? You've nailed it!
14. Reunite those beans from Step 3 with their home by pouring them into one side of the bin. Welcome back, little buddies!
15. The other side is now a blank canvas, ready for whatever coffee beans make your heart sing!
16. With both sides loaded and ready to rumble, pick your bean of choice and get ready to brew some seriously delicious coffee. Cheers to your double-bean life!
